Alan Green

Prior to establishing Management Methods in 1978, Alan had over 13 years of experience as both a human capital consultant and executive for such firms as Chase Manhattan Bank, Eastern Airlines, Damon Corporation and The Personnel Psychology Center of New York.

In these roles, he was directly responsible for designing and implementing "job redesign" and Total Quality projects to increase employee productivity and quality of work. He has designed assessment centers, competency-based talent identification/succession planning systems and numerous performance review systems. He has worked with senior executives to devise corporate strategy and then translate it into comprehensive manpower and human resource planning programs. As a staff psychologist, he was responsible for executive evaluation, talent assessment and opinion survey design. In the management development area, he has designed and conducted a wide range of executive, management and supervisory-level workshops. He has also led numerous team-oriented problem-solving meetings both nationally and internationally.

Alan holds a master's degree in Industrial Psychology with advance work in Organizational Behavior from New York University. He has been guest speaker for the American Banking Association, ASTD, The American Management Association, The MTM Association, and other professional organizations. He has taught on the faculty of Babson College and has published in the areas of worker productivity, motivation and communications. Alan is a member of ASTD and IHRS.
